RULES & UPDATES 2026

All ROLAX Coaches are responsible for knowing, complying with, and enforcing the 2026 rules of the game. The links below are direct to the most current rules documents that our league, GNLL, uses.

Non-GNLL tournaments may have their own slightly altered rules.

The items listed below are called out for their importance but, this is NOT an exhaustive list of new things for 2026 - please refer to the rules documents above for complete information.

The league (GNLL) is working to improve fairness, consistency, and accountability, while understanding the need to support reasonable flexibility for developmental and logistical situations when done transparently. 

Game Day Roster Requirements & Enforcements

Per GNLL, all teams must have a physical printed or published publicly accessible COMPLETE roster available at all games.

Published rosters MUST include all players listed with First Name, Last initial, and Jersey Number.

• This can be found on your team page in Crossbar. Parents or team manager need to make sure everyone has a jersey number listed.
• Any player approved to play on more than one team must have an asterisk next to their name.

Reporting roster concerns of an opponent

Violation Process for unrostered or ineligible players

• First Offense: Warning & Removal from Game
• Second Offense: Game Forfeiture and 2 Game Coach Suspension
• Third Offense: Game Forfeiture and Potential Indefinite Coach Suspension
