Frequently Asked Questions
Can players from outside Rogers-Otsego Youth Lacrosse Association Attend?
No, these sessions are current Summer 2026 ROLAX players only.
What if we can’t attend every session?
No problem! While we encourage full attendance, we understand summer schedules are busy. Please set your player's availability in the Crossbar app for each session.
What will participants learn?
The clinic focuses on:
- Fundamentals (passing, catching, ground balls, shooting)
- Building lacrosse IQ
- Positional drills and small-sided games
- Fun, teamwork, and confidence-building
My player is eligible to register for RHS Summer Training Program (STP) but there are schedule conflicts with the schedule. Can they attend this youth clinic instead?
If this is the ONLY supplemental training that fits in your schedule, yes, players old enough to participate in the RHS Summer Training Program CAN attend these sessions.
However, the high school summer program is most beneficial for them. Participating will ease the transition to the faster, more physical high school game. It provides early exposure to current team members and varsity coaching staff, helps players adapt to advanced team playbooks, and accelerates physical conditioning.
Who are the coaches?
This program is lead and directed by RHS Boys Varsity Head Coach, Riley Wood. Assistants may include, RHS assistant coaches, RHS Alumni, current/former college players, select RHS Varsity Players and other friends of the RHS program.
What equipment is needed?
All participants should bring:
- Lacrosse stick
- All necessary protective gear (mouthguard, helmet, protective cup, pads, etc.)
- Cleats or athletic shoes
- Waterbottle
