Skills Clinics
Rogers Otsego Youth Lacrosse is excited to offer boys and girls aged 10-14 years (graduation 2030-2034) a pre-season training opportunity led by the RHS Varsity Head Coach and ROLAX Director of Player Development, Riley Wood.
Players can be new to the game or looking to take their play to the next level, this training series will be packed with fundamentals, skill development, and competitive fun.
These sessions are ideal to prepare for 2026 team evaluations.

●1 hour per session
●Individual and small-area skills and game IQ training
● Full-body movement workouts to enhance on-field performance.

*Please note there are 4 sessions, but 3 weeks. The last 2 sessions are are in the same week.
COST
$65 per player for all sessions plus processing fee
No refunds will be issued for cancellations or missed sessions.
We are not able to pro-rate for missed sessions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can players from outside Rogers-Otsego Youth Lacrosse Association Attend?
No, these sessions are intended for current ROLAX players only. We hope to expand our offerings to outside players in the future.
My child is 9 years old can they register?
Yes! Experienced 10U players can register for skills clinics. 9 year old players who are new to the game or have very little experience can participate in the Try Lacrosse Free Clinics.
What if we can’t attend every session?
No problem! While we encourage full attendance, we understand summer schedules are busy. Please set your player's availability in the Crossbar app for each session.
Who are the coaches?
This program is lead and directed by RHS Boys Varsity Head Coach, Riley Wood. Assistants may include, RHS assistant coaches, RHS Alumni, current/former college players, select RHS Varsity Players and other friends of the RHS program.
What will participants learn?
The clinic focuses on:
- Fundamentals (passing, catching, ground balls, shooting)
- Building lacrosse IQ
- Positional drills and small-sided games
- Fun, teamwork, and confidence-building
What equipment is needed?
All participants should bring:
- Lacrosse stick
- All protective gear (Helmet, mouthguard, protective cup, shoulder pads, etc.)
- Cleats or athletic shoes
- Waterbottle
